By accessing or using Healio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Healio is a personal health management application that helps users track medications, wound care, mood, nutrition, body parameters, menstrual health, and connect with caregivers. The App uses AI-powered features to provide health insights and reminders.

3. Not Medical Advice

Healio is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content, AI insights, and information provided by the App are for informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Healio.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
• Use the App to harass, harm, or abuse others.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code.

6. Caregiver Features

The caregiver feature allows users to voluntarily share their health data with trusted individuals. By inviting a caregiver, you consent to sharing the data permitted by the access settings you configure. You may revoke caregiver access at any time.

7. AI Features

Healio uses artificial intelligence to provide health insights, reminders, and companion chat. AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You use AI features at your own discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and software within Healio are the intellectual property of Healio and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. You retain ownership of the health data you enter into the App.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the App will cease and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of Healio after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.
